In an effort to try to get my mass army games painted (warhammer Fantasy, Warhammer 40K, etc.), I decided to buy an airbrush. I found a reasonably priced one at Michaels for $65. It’s the Badger Standard Set that comes with a Badger 350 airbrush, the jars, tubes, and a can of proellant. I tested it on my Chaos Space Marine Land Raider using just Catachan Green. I’m still working on figuring out the proper thinness to the paint and how to keep it from clogging. A friend recommended 1/3 water to paint or 1/6 water, 1/6 extender 4/6 paint. I still haven’t tried that since the propellant can already ran out. I plan on purchasing a compressor soon so I don’t blow a bunch of money on propellant cans. I think I might also look into getting the fine needle and fine head to do more…fine…things with the airbrush.
