John, Tim and I agreed to meet over at John’s house last Friday night for another game of War of the Ring. Joel has had an interest in the game, so he was invited to come by as well, which he did. JR was only able to show up for a short time due to the Brickyard 400 race and him working at a restaurant. Tim let Joel handle a portion of his army, so it was two on two.

Over the long weekend, I met up with some old friends to play some War of the Ring and show John whatthe game is all about. Tim had come down from Chi-town and JR had some time off from his chef job. We had agreed ahead of time to play 1,000 points; Elves versus their combined forces of Easterlings and Goblins. Since we were trying to show John the rules, we went with a ‘pitched battle’ scenario rather than confusing things with the scenarios from the book. Here is what I recall of their lists:
